From flags, to costumes, to props, I offer conceptual design for all aspects of your show. I primarily work in Photoshop to create custom digital art to be printed on fabric or vinyl. I am very familiar with garment and vinyl printing processes to ensure accuracy in final production.
For flags, band tops, unitards, tunics, dresses, bibbers, and bottoms, print is achieved through the dye sublimation process. This means heat is used to transfer dye into the material. The imagery becomes part of the fabric, and doesn't just sit on top, so when the garment moves and stretches, there is no cracking or separation. This method allows for beautiful color and depth.
For vinyl printing, I am careful to create precise templates and place the art properly within the composition, for a clean, realistic look. I also ensure proper flow from one panel to the next for continuity. The art won't be stretched or distorted, to ensure the integrity of the design.
The technology of digital printing allows endless possibilities. Whether you need help with all aspects of your show design, or just individual elements, I am here to help. I am more than open to start from scratch or incorporate imagery that you find inspirational. Send me your music, drill, color palette, ideas, or anything else that can help me understand your aesthetic.
After the design process is complete, I will help facilitate print. Having open communication with the printer and clear design plans keep the continuity from proof to print.
Depending on complexity of design, custom is achievable for a variety of budgets. Let's discuss your options today!
